This week and next, we're delighted to welcome a delegation from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth!

The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration is one of the oldest business schools in the world, and the first to offer an MBA (Master of Business Administration)! Today, it is part of Dartmouth College, one of the 8 most prestigious American universities in the Ivy League.

Every year, Tuck's MBA teams organize a study abroad trip for their students. This year, the country chosen was France, and the theme of the trip was"Sustainability in French Agriculture". The trip lasts around ten days and takes us all over France, mainly to visit Tuck alumni who have set up farming businesses here, but also to visit some of the most emblematic places in our history, such as the Château de Chambord.

We are pleased and honored to have been chosen to organize part of their trip, and we will be accompanying them through 4 distinct moments during their stay in France:

  • Friday December 1: a morning lecture on French agriculture, its recent history and major trends, at the Maison des Ingénieurs Agronomes run by our friends at AgroParisTech Alumni, with Marine Raffray as"lecturer".
  • Tuesday morning, December 5: visit to Valérie and Gaël Dupont's Champagne vineyard in the Marne region, a farm that is flying the flag for French agro-ecology.
  • Tuesday afternoon, December 5: visit to the Bazancourt/Pomacle industrial site, including Cristal Union's sugar refinery (beet processing).
  • Friday December 7: visit to the Grignon Experimental Farm

We look forward to welcoming them, see you soon Tuck!
